Constantine was great. Tilda was perfect as Gabriel. Stormare was an excellent Satan, obviously still second to Tim Curry in Legend.

Excellent candidates. I'd also put Tom Waits as Mr. Nick in the conversation, especially as more an Americana folk Satan.
And then also whoever played Satan in that horrifying bit of the claymation Mark Twain movie.
I have nothing but love for anything by Tom Waits. I totally forgot about that horrifying Mysterious Stranger from the Mark Twin movie! What a fucked up thing to show a kid. Lol
I liked his and Iggy Pop's vignette in Coffee and Cigarettes
Great movie. Felt like you were at the table the whole time.

Hey, let me out!
I just gotta take a moment to reflect on the glorious cinemetography in that movie and the picture perfect casting. What about Peter Stormare's Lucifer, too?
Absolutely loved the casting in this. The movie feels so deliberate and there are so many great moments in it, but that final scene with Lucifer is just perfect.
Perfect casting for everyone except the main character lol
Constantine is a chain smoking, blonde punk rocker from Liverpool.
So... Keanu?
I still enjoyed his performance. I don't really care about the accent or hair color if they're not essential pays off the character.
And if hair color is essential to the story, that's probably not one I'm super interested in.
It would be like making a Superman movie and making him blonde and give him a purple outfit. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt the movie but it's super distracting to fans of the character
Interestingly, the tv Constantine is the most comic book accurate
BTW the movie Constantine is free on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2zDRzNN_xg

Tilda Swinton signed the petition to allow Roman Polanski to come back to the States
Well, it is not like he was a child rapist like our president's best friends. Oh, wait!
Or like our 45th/47th president himself
Sorry, I guess I don't get the joke and what it has to do with this topic? Sorry again, I'm sure it's really obvious, and I'm still just too fucked up about the election results to really joke about it yet
There's no joke. Polanksy and Eptein abused woman just like the rapist-in-chief.
And yes that's how I am calling him as this is factual. I can't really care about them red hat snowflakes or their feelings.
Her paternal great-grandfather was a Scottish politician and herald, George Swinton, and her maternal great-great-grandfather was the Scottish botanist John Hutton Balfour.[9] The Swintons are an ancient Scots family whose members can trace their lineage to the 9th Century.
There's rich and then there's this
So did Guillermo del Toro and everyone still acts like he's a good guy
Yup. Lots of other celebrities, too. Full list for anyone interested: https://www.imdb.com/list/ls090808434/
I wanted to share a higher quality version of this, so I created a new screenshot
If you had watched Constantine you'd know that they get "digitally removed" in the final quarter of the movie.
At least it wasn't like in Dogma, where if you get shot enough, your wings get Swiss-cheesed and then you're human...?
Are we just going to start posting facts now? Cool.
We? No. Just me. I've been given special dispensation.
Such a great movie.
This is the second time in two days that Lemmy has reminded me about Constantine.
So yeah I think I’ll be rewatching it too!
That's because digital post production became increasingly expensive due to Bog Oil or Big Pharma or something, do your own research
Bog oil is the archenemy of Scotch whiskey
