I stopped participating, and mostly using it. I've been back a couple times when a search for information led me there, but otherwise I haven't used it.

Almost entirely dropped reddit except sometimes for specific games or some 3D printing stuff

I mostly stopped using it when RIF announced they'd drop support. Deleted my account and everything, although I do still pop into subs that haven't migrated over.

I miss some of the content but certainly not Reddit the company.

I think we can be reasonably accurate on how many people are using Lemmy/Kbin, but not on how many people are not using Reddit. Even how many people are actually using Reddit is less accurate as the data is locked away and estimated from other metrics.

If Reddit is going to IPO then accurate usage stats is the last thing it once, like any company it'll go for the most flattering numbers it can generate and push thatball the way.

dropped reddit, yes. For lemmy? Not sure yet.

Here. I quit after so many subs went dark and they started kicking mods out. I‘m a mod on reddit myself and thats the only reason I open the app every couple of days, just to check my queue.

I nuked my accounts and haven't logged in since, though I still read Reddit threads because they contain really useful information, I just do it in the old.reddit site.

top six hours page is very good

Other than occasional query leading to it at work - i haven't been there at all.

It was very easy for me, though. This is the same environment as the one Inhad found on Google+ when that launched - full of technical geeks. I like that so I stayed.

I sort of did. I still have an account, but I only use it in the browser and very rarely, from like hourly use to maybe once a week when I can remember.

I pop over to reddit maybe 1-2 times a day for a few subs. My daily driver is lemmy though.

Well I kept using it until Infinity died, which was only at the start of this month!

If I do decide to go back, it will be by compiling the infinity APK with my own API key, but I'm not feeling much of an urge to bother at the moment.

Same here, I'm using connect for Lemmy, it has good UI and I only ever scrolled the all or popular page on Infinity

I deleted my Reddit account (24k karma, I think, about 10 years old?) and went with Lemmy. It's fine, though I miss a couple gaming subs.

I left during the blackouts.

Me, I don't use Reddit just because I purely used Joey and never downloaded the official app.

I did. I do visit once every few days for the communities that haven't seen a big exodus. I was a Sync user, now I use Jerboa. It's actually on par with Sync imho. So I donated to Jerboa the exact amount Sync's developer was asking (sixteen euros).

I still browse Reddit about as much as Lemmy, because many communities haven't taken off here yet.
