AWESOME! I'm so excited to be bludgeoned with guilt for wearing a mask during my holiday rounds. I am not even going to try to tell them the next pandemic is on the horizon, it's not worth the breath.

so check this out, I moved or whatever this year for work. new health insurance, new provider, etc.
anyway my records hadn't transferred yet because this is America and why would they, so my new PCP was inquiring about vaccinations status. I told her what I remembered and what dates, but made sure to let her know that I am more than happy to get reinoculated against anything she thought would be a good idea because needles don't phase me and vaccines are cool+good. I made my joke that got no laughs at my last PCP "gimmie the works". she smirked and gave me a tetanus shot right then even though I was pretty sure I had one 2 years ago, lol. they drew blood and did titers for some I couldn't remember for sure... like one of the Hepatitises. I did get a new flu and covid shot in October through work, so I remembered those clearly.
anyway, she asked if I'd ever had the pneumonia vax. I always thought that was for olds and immunocompromised, but she said that since I used to smoke tobacco when I was younger and dumber she could recommend me for it and was like "can't hurt".
I think I'm gonna like working with her haha. fuckin hooking me up.
and my titers all came back as strong antibody/immunity for everything on the schedule.

Asking people to cancel plans is the impossible task. I can't not go visit my family, I gotta spread this cough to every one in spitting distance as I board an airplane for 6 hours and never even consider a mask. What is a mask never heard of it.
