I'm a big fan of Aftershockz (apparently just "shokz" now) bone conduction. One of my ears must be funny and didn't hold buds very well, but I can throw these around my head and they're on. They don't block out noise which is often a bonus but means you can't hear anything in a noisy environment.

Came to recommend these too. Just all-round solid product. As mentioned though they fail a bit in noisy environments, but earplugs sort that out if you need. I do some ceramic machining at work and use shokz + earplugs so I can keep listening.
I'll also shill for the Creative's version, in the Outlier Free line. There's even a model that you can take swimming with a built-in MP3 player.
I own the original branded Aftershokz and still like really them, few years in ownership now.
Bought my wife the newer branded Shokz and the only difference I noticed was a slight shape change and the connector went proprietary from the USB C on mine.
She runs as a hobby and prefers them to other in/over ear styles.
They're very handy being open ear to oncoming sounds toward you or someone trying to get your attention.
I was amazed what the bone conduction produces in sound. Not great super high fidelity but impressive nonetheless
Second this. I got a set that I wear like a watch, every damn day. It also pairs with two phones so I have my personal and work phone on one headset.
I am a huge fan of my Trekz Aftershocks, they are bone conductive headphones that rest on your temples. I like them because you can still hear your surroundings and they won't fall off.
If the sound quality doesn't matter too much or isn't the main priority, I've heard beats have a very strong clamping force which is ideal for running
If it is about clamping force, might as well buy a dt990 pro. :D
I have the DT 990 Pros, they're stronger but not that strong. I've had worse with cheap closed-backs.
The sony xm4/xm5's are oustanding in terms of audio quality and noice cancelling. They fit really well and don't weigh a lot. They can get a bit sweaty though if that's an issue
Since the OP is asking for headphones and hates earbuds, i'd guess that you are suggesting the over-ear WH series.
I tried running with them, the problem didn't even get to the sweat part. It's horrible to run with the sealed cans doing a "toilet plunger" like motion when your head bobs up and down. It literally pumps pressure your ears on every step. It's one of those "never again" -experiences. (EDIT: it's fine on elliptical machines though, it's what i use indoors.)
What i have used for running though is the Koss portapro. It's good if there's not lot of environmental noises. Like if you're not running right next to a busy road. The wire is also a problem, thus i personally modded mine with a bluetooth receiver.
