I forget where I went but I ordered an iced coffee and I received what was essentially a sippy cup. My initial reaction was what the fuck is this I’m not a child. But quickly i realized the significance of eliminating the straw. Aside from straws. What are some other areas where you think plastics can be eliminated?

Stop using dildos. More plastics in dildos than in straws. I bet the left would rather give up straws.

Unless you're like superman or something, you can't chew on metal straws

Cocktails would look worse without straws

The biggest place I use straws is for to go food or food I'm going to eat in the car. I've yet to see a cost effective replacement for the convenience provided by a straw in that situation.

I mostly drink water, tea, beer, or booze. Straws look kinda gay for the last two. For the first I usually drink directly out of the cup, water bottle, or sports bottle.

Legos. Those mfs hurt like hell when you step on them

But on a more serious note, I think we just need to go back to the 3 R's but focus more on the reduce and reuse. Too many lazy fucks and consoomer cucks that want to just keep consooming and maybe recycle.

If you buy a decent sports bottle and refill it yourself, IMO you're doing way better than someone who buys disposable water bottles and throws away/recycle them. Not hating on those folks - I get it. Out in the field working your ass off, you just want water and the other details ain't that important. Just saying more for people that do want to do something about it, people need to push back against the "ick mentality" and consoomerism and just use common sense
