We really need to come up with better terminologyi here. I understand a “recall” is a mandated process, but it has also always meant scheduling an appointment at your dealer for the work. We could really use a different term for “there’s a mandated process but it’s an over the air software update so you won’t be inconvenienced”, and ye, Tesla deserves credit for this being a possibility so much of the time
