MODERATORS
At the top of the Lemmy window (or in the hamburger menu, if you're using Lemmy from your phone) just click "communities" and then select "all" sorting. It will show you all communities federated to your local instance, with it default-sorted by # of active users per month.
I found some interesting and popular communities here: https://browse.feddit.de/ In my instance (Beehaw) There is also a list of communities that you can follow: https://beehaw.org/communities
Protip, if there's multiple with the same topic, just subscribe to them all, you don't loose anything in doing so
