Ikea HULTARP rods (lemmy.world)
submitted 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago) by [email protected] to c/[email protected]

Ikea's HULTARP rods and hooks can let you store things outside of the kitchen too.

I came up with this solution to stick long, but flat and lightweight, items on the wall in a bathroom.

Edit: note that Ikea has two sizes of HULTRAP hooks, so you might want to get a pack of each while figuring out what works best for your items.

Sadly I've got to wear pressed shirts as part of my uniform :(

It's turned me off from getting anything that needs pressing for my personal wardrobe.

This is such a great idea for a pantry! I've been thinking of doing something just like this in my laundry room.

I like your hotdog station with the sauces up there and the fold away worksurface.

Oh this would be cool to have multiple shelves with hangers for more storage for smaller things too. Hmm, looks like a trip to IKEA is in order.

While I have the bar mounted below the shelf in the wall, it could also work to mount the bars directly too the shelf.

Oh yes, that's what I mean, a bar below each shelf in a closet or pantry. Would allow you to put things on the "wall" as well as the shelves
