I never really cared much about Threadripper, since I don't really have a use case for them, but I would like to know what's the general opinion about this release.

I have been awaiting this announcement eagerly for a long time. My main machine has a Threadripper 2950X, and finally, there will be a worthy upgrade path. I'm super excited!
