I left the world of tea years ago and recently was indoctrinated by the amazing taste and health benefits of Oolong.

I lived in Japan for a couple years and I hated oolong when I first tried it but over several months grew to love it. Nowadays, over the summer, I make cold brew oolong. I make 1-2 liter batches at a time in glass bottles and then drink it over several days. It is very refreshing over ice.

I prefer jasmine, because i steep the tea to hell and back. Oolong is fine for lighter brews

But even when you steep Oolong to them, it's still very soft. Sorry, I don't know the terminology. But I like the flavour of Oolong, but most times want it to be stronger. Maybe I should give Jasmine a try.

When you steep with boiling water in a thermos, it makes it quite strong because the water remains very hot the whole time.

I use Jasmine because it takes some of the edge off the bitterness from oversteeping, but I could be wrong on that. After trying a few different types I found I liked Jasmine more.

I'm not a pro at this, just a caffeine addict. Tea has better caffeine than coffee

TIL! You're dropping gems.

Yep! I love roasted oolongs the most tbh. Something like the Taiwanese roasted Ali Shan Competition Grade or Bug-Bitten Shan Lin Xi.

I don't like how they phased him out after the saiyan saga

I like it but not exactly my favorite. It's also been a while. I should give oolong another try

Yeah. Love oolong. I'm usually a black teas guy, but some oolong every now and then is awesome.

I really enjoy those mild and flowery oolongs. But from time to time even more 'burned' oolongs resonate with me quite well.
