All good! I love this fucking club, especially with how we're actually trying for the first time in forever, and I'm too bored not having anything to refresh on Lemmy so i'm just stealing from Twitter instead XD

Think the £200m transfer budget thing was true? With the sales pending, it'll not be impossible to keep the net spend nearby that margin.

I can see us signing a couple of talented prospects (like that kid from Brazil who apparently Edu likes). But for big name signings, we're probably done. Though I'd personally like a bit more coverage in defensive midfield. Rice, Jorginho, and Elneny are okay. But two of them are getting older, and Elneny is now pretty injury-prone. I am concerned about Rice getting burned out.
I bet there's one more big opportunistic signing towards the end of the window

Wasn't Biereth on his way out anyway?
I'm thinking of a different type of treble - Conference league, Europa League and Champions League. Not asking for a downgrade - just the fact that no one's done all three yet.

I hope we replace Partey tbh. Even apart from off pitch issues, he doesn’t perform for half the season (injuries, form).
I think with Rice rotating his injury problems will be less but he is so inconsistent. I honestly prefer Jorginho in important games cuz while his ceiling isn't as high his floor is way higher
And we still have Pyramid Pirlo for another season. I'm guessing he'll only be popping up in a few domestic cup matches, barring serious injuries.
I could see him in the CL group stage — just for more bangers. I may be a bit biased lol
Ngl, disappointed that Xavi Simons would go back to PSG. Man's gonna get wasted there.
