Weights. They are typically used to balance a wheel. When placed randomly the wheel will be very unbalanced. This will cause a horrible ride, and ruin a tire.
Taping a harmonica to their undercarriage is a more harmless prank.
Yea, seriously.....off-balancing a wheel that much can actually do some serious damage.
