Just noticed that the PNG version that I was trying to upload was 7.8mb, so I guess kbin must have been choking on that.

Me crushing the color of images and optimizing them (but still keeping them as a .png)
I put some actual words about making that image 4 months ago, though for the effort I wish Kbin had a way to store multi-use images like this (for a user, a community would be possible now aside from how to bookmark said image in a unique way) rather than re-attaching or re-linking.
EDIT: I didn't say it before but I used Krita and G'MIC to reduce the colors. I think I used a combo of posterize and sharp abstract, but I also just noticed a new G'MIC dithering filter that I may try next (transfer color [reduced colors]).
Do you mean something like discord-style emotes?
Not really, more just like memes or things that someone may reference multiple times. From a favorites folder.
Like this polygonal redraw (of a meme) that I made is another one I've used a few times.
Though if it were a public sort-of-thing (voting, others using it) that'd be cool too so long as it wasn't the same as any other post in the UI. Though there is also personal work (screenshots etc) that may not make much sense for others to use. Or just ideas that others are unlikely to reference, like this one of mine, a cyborg brain pod.
