I think of stuff like this when people say that the point is cruelty. Honestly, how much more work can anyone believe that they're going to squeeze out of heat exhausted workers by denying shade and water breaks? It doesn't make sense as a productivity measure, but some dip shit manager is still going to make people do it just to flex on them.
