It's disgusting that it required someone killing themselves to motivate the cops to even pretend to care.

It is common in this Corrupted and Degenerated Brahmanical-Fascist regime. I have seen such incidents since a long time. Each one pains to recall. And unfortunately these will continue as long as these Pigs rule the country.

A Class 12 girl in Uttar Pradesh has died by suicide after the local police allegedly failed to take action against a few stalkers who had molested her on multiple occasions, officials said. The 17-year-old breathed her last on Monday morning, the police said. In her two-page suicide note, she said that she was taking the extreme step so that the molesters who lived near her house would be duly punished and blamed the local police in Moradabad for not taking action against them on previous occasions.

Despite her family lodging complaints, the police took “no action” because the accused are “rich people”, alleged the girl in the note that also had the names of the four men. She alleged that the men tried to kill her and hence she had to leave her school fearing their harassment.

The Moradabad police have arrested two of the accused Vikesh and Amrut, while the search is on for the two more people who are absconding, said an officer.

In the latest incident, it is learnt that the miscreants had tried to molest her by sneaking into the house and recording videos of the girl who was taking a shower inside a roofless bathroom in a Moradabad village.

The girl, in her suicide note, appealed to the police to take action against the stalkers who used to humiliate her almost every day.

Festive offer

“I belong to a poor family and hence none paid heed to our complaints. The stalkers have managed to get out of the issue by bribing the local police. I am sure I won’t be able to get them punished while I am alive but I do hope that after my death they will be arrested. These people didn’t even let my dream come true. I no longer have the courage to face them. However, my family should not suffer. Sir (authorities), will you please listen now? Punish the men after my death…so that poor girls can live and try to fulfil their dreams” reads the suicide note.

The girl goes on to explain the ordeal and the stressful moments she had to endure. “They used to threaten me and say that they would kill my parents. They would climb up the terrace and scare me with knives. When my parents found out, they filed a police complaint but nobody did anything” reads the letter.

The girl consumed poison Sunday afternoon when she was alone at home and died the next day at a hospital, said the police.

Moradabad SSP Hemraj Meena has suspended the in-charge of the area police station (Sachin Malik) and assigned SP(Rural) Sandeep Kumar to conduct a time-bound probe. “One of the accused lives next to the girl’s house. Her family lodged a complaint of molestation on March 8 and the accused was detained. He was later released on bail. We have suspended SI Sachin Malik for not following up on the case and taking appropriate legal action. Now, we have arrested two of the accused named in the note,” the officer told reporters.

The accused have been booked under sections 306(abetment to suicide); 354 (assault or criminal force to any woman, intending to outrage or knowing it to be likely that he will thereby outrage her modesty) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the IT Act and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, said Sandeep Kumar.

Just in case anyone ever doubted that the rich are playing by different rules than the rest of us.

Same shit happens literally everywhere. It's almost like wealth inequality is a direct threat to the life and liberty of the majority...
