Everybody's so creative!

My go-to for pearl onions is Julia Child's braised onion recipe. If vegan, subbing soy sauce for beef broth and olive oil for butter might be the move:

You could probably get away with adding cream at the end, but you hardly need an umami or sweet boost if onions are cooked properly
