Me and my warm thighs are one and the same. I also smear tuna all over my thighs. Doesn’t mean our love isn’t true and deep.
Ours gives me kisses for food and then after eating she gives thank you kisses with pig heart breath.
I don't feed my cat, I have a machine that does that
I highly recommend it; it decouples you from the food. My cat knows now that begging gets him nowhere.
That's not to say it never happens but when it does I just meow-argue right back at him. Eventually he looks confused and gives up.
I tried that, we got a few auto feeders for a trip. Worked for those few days, but when we decided to stick with them, two of the cats eventually figured out how to manually dispense. I taped over the manual button, so they learned how to dig their paws in and around the inside to push the food out.
Problem there is that they were taking from the next batch that was set to dispense. The meal time would come and nothing would come out because they already ate it. They'd get mad and knock it them over, so they'd starve if I didn't intervene.
Yeah they're little dickheads.
I'm sure there's more robust auto feeders but I can only learn that after my cats have had a few weeks to fuck around with them 😂
This is the one I eventually landed on for my dumb cat and it's been great!
We use SureFeeders. They are pricey but have lasted many years, and they are registered to the chips in their neck so they can't steal each-others food like they used to do.
One of mine HAS to cuddle after food, and if I’m busy she will brute force herself into cuddles 🥰
