Hello! I'm currently very very dependent on TickTick (not tiktok) because of a single simple feature: persistent notification alerts. I can set events and tasks as in many other similar apps, but once the reminder is triggered, a persistent notification is showed, until I manually say "mark as completed" or "remind me later". This way I avoid accidentally removing (and missing) it by clearing my notification tray. However, it is closed source and only available on Google Play. I'd like to replace it (if possible) with a FOSS app. Do you know of an app with this feature? Thanks in advance Android folks!

This looks very interesting, thanks! I'm trying to connect it to davx5 and I'm failing, but if I'll achieve to connect it it will be the perfect replacement

Thank you!

Looking for the same

I'm using Collateral, which sounds like a very similar app

It's not FOSS, but Buzzkill can give you all kinds of control over notifications, including making them sticky/persistent or giving reminders. I'd love a FOSS equivalent but honestly the $4 price is way beyond fair. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samruston.buzzkill
