Garak is only doing this to drive a wedge between Bashir and O'Brien. His true intention is to pave the way for himself to spend more time with Bashir.

I thought it was crazy in one episode where Keiko made breakfast and Miles is whining about how they always eat what she wants and she doesn't even know what he likes to eat.

At that point, they had been married for at least a few months. How do you not know what foods each other like? How long were they dating before marriage?!

Their personalities are so different I can't imagine the marriage was anything but an arranged space contract or she is a slave or something.

This is not accurate because the first panel is the opposite of what Keiko would say about Miles.

I think it's something she would say to other people if she was trying to get something from them.
But I think Garak has higher standards.

Garak is a Bashir-sexual and Keiko is not Bashir enough for him.

Garek always struck me as a try-sexual, as in he'll try anything sexual.

She doesn't seem to enjoy the time she spends with Miles, and even accepts posts for months at a time off-station to get away from him. Of course he spends more time with Julian!

I think they're an anti marriage trope that really grew legs on ds9. They're so bad for each other it's awkward to watch.
