While browsing your feed you can swipe a post to up/downvote it, or reply to it. However if you are within the post itself this does not appear possible and you have to use the buttons. Can this be changed?

Collapsing a post/comment currently only needs a slight touch, and as such I have collapsed posts, or a comment while merely trying to scroll. Can this action be made to require a long touch (or give us the option?)

If either of these are already available within the app would someone point me to the settings as I have been unable to find them.

+1 for swipe gestures for single posts

We unfortunately can’t make long press the collapse post gesture, since that is already taken by the system context menu behavior. We can, however, add an option to disable tap-to-collapse, since we already have the alternative of swiping very far to the left to collapse a comment implemented.

Swipe actions on expanded posts should be feasible, but I’m not going to promise it until I’ve reviewed our other planned features and verified that there aren’t other uses for that gesture under discussion.

I suppose we could make it a double tap gesture 👀

i wouldnt like it, since swipe right in a post gets you back to the feed

Swiping either direction in a post does nothing for me at the moment.
