What are the benefits of that mmwave sensor over an infrared sensor like what you get in a home alarm system?

Mm wave sensors are way more accurate than pir sensors, they also don't stop "seeing" you if you're still in the room, just still.

Mm wave sensors can detect breathing as movement.

Also, they can detect specific distances of movement, thus allowing you to have multiple triggers at different distances from the sensor.

Uhhh what does that even mean? Athom.tech sells the same sensor package (mmWave & PIR) with an ESP32, running ESPHome firmware. They released it earlier in the year.
