Hi everyone, I need to summarize an educative video (5 hrs long) of of just talking, no images. Is there an Ai that could help me in this task and trasform this video in notes, Well structured notes. I am not sure if this request of information is appropriate to this community, I hope I did not infringe any rules of this community.

  1. Speech to text
  2. ChatGPT

Someone has used FFMPEG with Whisper to generate captions/subtitles. You could take that to get a transcript then analyze it with language models like LLaMa or ChatGPT or others.

Does Summarize.Tech work for you?

Chatgpt, when I ask to help me summarise the video pasting the link (chatgpt 4) answers that it cannot help me Textual:

I'm unable to access YouTube videos directly. However, if you provide me with details about the video or any specific questions you have, I can assist you with information or search for related content. Let me know how I can help!

In that case ChatGPT is correct, it cannot work with links. You will need to download the video transcript (subtitles) yourself and ask it to summarise that. This definitely works, people have been doing it for months.
