Welcome to /c/PlayStoreDeals

The goal of this community is to share when Android apps on the Google Play Store go on sale, either at a reduced price or for free.

Rules

  1. Post URL must be the URL of the app on the Google Play Store.
    • Exception: If the developer has multiple apps on sale, it can be the URL of the developer on the Google Play Store.
  2. Post titles must contain:
    • Name of app
      • Exception: If the developer has multiple apps on sale, it can be the developer’s name and an indication that it is multiple apps
    • Regular price and sale price
      • Examples:
        • $4.99 -> $0.99
        • $2.99 -> free
    • The word (Expired) before the name once the sale is over
  3. Post descriptions must contain:
    • All or part of the description of the app from the Google Play Store.
  4. Post descriptions can contain:
    • The date when the sale ends, if known
    • Your country of origin (This is not required, but can help because sometimes sales are limited to parts of the world.)
    • Historical information about pricing if known
  5. Do not include any other information in the post! No media or other links. If you would like to provide more information or opinions, make a reply.
  6. Do not violate the lemmy.ca server rules.

Recommendations

  1. To help others decide whether to buy or download these apps, make a reply and share what you know, including:
    • the merits of the app
    • compatibility issues with different Android devices
    • similar apps that you prefer
    • historical pricing data if known
  2. If you see a sale has expired, please reply with the word “Expired” so the poster knows to change the title.
  3. If the sale has expired but you think the app is worth paying full price, please say so. We like sales, but we also want developers to be fairly compensated for good work.

Any interesting use cases you have for it?

Real-time readout of cpu and gpu usage. I like having that kind of stuff on my screen so i can see it at a glance, and it's a whole 6px(off the top 9f the screen) used. They also have support for rounded cornered displays. Also it's able to draw over everything so i can see battery% even when the notification bar is hidden away

No prob, ive had it installed on every phone (lg optimus zip, galaxy s4, lg g5, lg v20, pixel 6a, and now my zenfone 9) its never once caused an issue and is super lightweight. Cheers to OP for pointing out this sale.
