Found a good round up for running Arena on linux. I've used the Lutris method before successfully.

I've been playing it using Steam with Proton and it's worked fantastically, both on my desktop Arch machine as well as my Steam Deck. The only downside is that now I can see how many hours I've wasted away playing it.
