Jesus walks ๐Ÿ‘€.....but will he play?

I have zero expectations for the game, is that a good thing?

All I ask for is they don't start Eddie even if Jesus is a doubt.

Put Havertz up top, perhaps? The few times we've tried Trossard there it just hasn't panned out

Havertz up top hasn't happened in a long while I believe

Since the Community Shield, right? I wouldn't like to play like we did against City; Liverpool are going to force transitions constantly (if I had one wish it'd be that Partey is actually fit, he'd be massive) and it'd be nice to be able to boot it to Havertz as a safety valve

The government complaining about Messi not playing is kinda hilarious, but also to be expected from the match with the team that announced they would be playing a team selected from the Hong Kong First Division League instead of the HKPL lol.

It's a friendly exhibition lmao...

I mean, he absolutely should have played or they should have communicated earlier (I think I'd heard rumours of him being injured as early as the al-Nassr game tbh)

but the literal government complaining is just massive copium. Like, people get injured; you still got to see Busquets and Alba as well like

Messi didn't really play the last match in Saudi Arabia either...he was forced to come on after the home team started slapping their behinds lmao

[โ€“] [email protected] 2 points 9 months ago

His injury actually has been since the latter half of last season, I actually don't expect him to play in the first half of the upcoming season either

not to mention that the hong kong team got beat 4-1 anyway like, how bout you make the local game good so these players actually want to play here instead

I also do think now that I've been removed from that environment for a while... There's like some sense of entitlement in HK. Lmao they literally just took their money, it's never a guarantee to see the big names preseason. I remember way back when Mikel and Arsenal came to NYC, it wasn't even the full first team present.

Entitlement? In Hong Kong? no way..... really?

Lol the amount of complaints about the littlest things...I remember wasn't it just that one bad black rain people complained why taxis and metro weren't running? Like ffs it's flooded. People also complain about trains being a minute late...ever try waiting for 20 minutes in a hot underground station? Very much feel like they're entitled to a lot of shit.

I mean granted yes, they can complain about this situation, but players playing is definitely not guaranteed.
