So far, I have Astro Boy and Black Jack in mind that I wanted to read but I don’t know any other works by the creator if you could mention some.

You may also suggest other classic works as long as it’s not mainstream Shonen like Naruto.

"Ai Ren" by the same author who worked on "My Lovely Ghost Kana"? It's dark and depressing however.
