I need a lady to try to fix me, only to put my head in a freezer because the technology doesn't exist. (EDIT: to be clear I mean cryonics not just next to the broccoli, not that revival tech really exists either)

That doesn't have much to do with anime, but I suppose it does make sense that being hit by a truck is a common vehicle (pun intended) for escapism plots.

Also I imagine a yandere would get bored(/see flaws) with a shut-in and dump them when there's no separation and no reason for them to be jealous.
