I painted all the areas orange, then blended on Vallejo Iraqi Sand to the raised areas. When it was good, I glazed over the raised areas with yellow. Then I hit it all with an orange wash that I pulled away from the most raised areas. Then a yellow-white highlight layer.

It still needs a little more highlighting, and some edge cleanup. The strap on his right leg for example will have dark blue lining to make it a hair thinner.
