This problem stems from この先 being able to mean “ahead from here in space”, or in time which (mis)translated to “the future”. Without proper context (that it is a sign on a road) the translation software had to make a guess, and it guessed wrong.

It may be possible to infer from 前へ行く in the second sentence that it is more likely referring to space than time, but I still think it is possible to construct some similar sentences which even humans might misunderstand.

Raphael reminds us that backups are important.

Diablo of course have no problem handling 3 of the Seven Days Clergy. I think the manga handled this scene better, kudos to Kawakami-sensei or whoever came up with the idea of Diable crumpling space like paper (not so obvious in the anime), worked very well with the manga medium. (It's chapter 96 if you want to check it out.)

Oh, the great Luminous reveal. I am so confused that Rimuru only just figured it out this episode, but I might have been spoiled at the time I read / watched Walpurgis.

Rimuru wonders why Luminous is able to use holy magic. This will come up again.

Hinata's backstory. It seems she's quite powerful even as she just arrived to this world, gained 2 unique skills. I checked the end credits and there's no credit for the "Voice of the World"...... do we know why it has the same voice as Raphael?

Rimuru proves himself as an adult in the past life, admitting he was staring at Hinata's beautiful body when confronted instead of having childish reactions.

The great Luminous reveal part 2, this time from Veldora to the holy knights. He really gives Luminous reasons to punish him, which she does with that special skill / technique that works well for spiritual beings like Veldora.

Too bad the anime put the after action party in the ED rather than spending more time with them. It could also have got into more details of why the Seven Days Clergy did what they did. I still think the pacing is off with this season.

I feel the pacing is a bit off. They spent so much time last few episodes that people were complaining, but they put so many fights off-screen this time it felt rushed. At the same time I'm glad we don't have to wait a few more weeks to play out those fights before getting to Hinata.

The lady knight blushing was a manga addition I think, not quite sure it was in the LN. Surely would be fun if they'd do another Diary anime coming back to those side-fights.

Kaiju No.9 was strong. It was able to toy with full-strength Reno and Iharu because it wanted to capture one of them alive. However Kafka as Kaiju No.8 was stronger and what able to fight it off.

The plot conveniently saved Kaiju No.9 though and put Kafka in the path of Hoshina, who thought he was the one who attacked Reno and Iharu so we'll probably see them fight next episode.

We finally see The Cocktail Award competition mentioned in the last few episodes. Yuri and Kyoko were shown practicing for it, getting support from their colleagues.

Chen appeared as a surprise contestant, bring his arc to a conclusion. He did not get what he wanted but he got to face himself and it seemed he was able to work something out with his father in the end. I guess it reflects the more mature target audience as we're not getting the kind of complete victory you'd see in a shonen series. (Ditto those sata andagi not being spiked after watching Kuroshitsuji last week 😁)

Kyoko gets a new job and graduates from Bar Minami with the blessing of Minami-san. I liked their interaction.

"Was I able to make you just a little happier than when you walked through the door?"

The next episode's title is "North Wind", alluding to the bar Sasakura apprenticed at, I think.

It is all meetings. We have a crypt meeting, a holy field meeting, a few off-screen meetings and finally the meeting between Hinata and Rimuru where they speak through sword skills and ultimate skills (okay that's stretching it a bit).

Seems so, if you use Lemmy’s web interface directly it does render as furigana (including the sidebar)

Alphapolis's mobile app lets you watch ads for tickets you can spend to read LN chapters. They are in original Japanese though.

The WN is not complete, and the LN is still catching up to the WN, so no ending is known yet. The WN is now supposedly in its final chapter, but there was a 2 year gap on Alphapolis between the last released installment January this year and the one prior, we don't know when it is going to finish.

It is an anime a Japanese town made (commissioned?) to promote itself, the whole episode is on Youtube.

I wasn't sure whether it was a joke or not at first but it turns out it is a real town in Iwate prefecture. I hope no one gets the idea that they really have a super robot as Guardian Angel after watching it though 🤣

The animation is not bad and is the length of a full episode, and it has famous seiyuu voices, notably Takayama Minami (of Detective Conan fame) as the main character. Usatsuka Eiji (illustrator of Zero no Tsukaima) is credited as one of the authors.
