My desktop is for home and gaming use. However I also have a gaming laptop which I bought for whenever I travel. That said, I don't travel much... shrug

I actually ended up using my gaming laptop as a way of playing VR games in my room so that I have more privacy. Although I'll still unplug and take it with me whenever I travel.

I also just recently got a Samsung Galaxy S24+ and a touchscreen display to use DeX mode as a tablet of sorts. Mostly for note taking when I don't want to take my heavy gaming laptop.

I'm all over the place lol. I also work in the tech field. Computer Programmer. So yeah... lol.

A nutrition tracker where you can enter what foods you eat into a small database. And then when you eat meals you can check those foods off in order to calculate all of the nutrition facts consumption per day. And it could be expanded even further by adding graphs and reports such as Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly.

Could track Calories, Vitamins, Minerals, and other specific nutrition stats. Most nutrition apps I've seen only track Calories... Or don't have accurate nutrition applied to specific foods as it is generic. Letting the user add the food as a item in a small database would give the user more control of how the stats and reports are calculated.

Could be helpful for some to see their intake and then figure out ways to change it to become healthier.

My favorite controller currently is: "Gulikit Kingkong 2 Pro"

It has hall effect sensors for the sticks and triggers so pretty much drift proof.

The layout is similar to a switch controller but the buttons can be swapped for a more Xbox-ish layout.

You can look it up on amazon. I bought it back in Nov 2022 and it still hasn't failed me.

Because our current voting system is "first past the post". And that it eventually leads to an inevitable 2 party system.

This video is one of my favorites that explain this problem. https://youtu.be/s7tWHJfhiyo?si=ri9DbpvXxjyRonN3

Google "Odysee".

It's currently my preferred YouTube alternative. Granted it obviously doesn't have as much content as YouTube. But several well known content creators post to both YouTube and Odysee now.

Some of the ones I follow include: Louis Rossman, Anton Petrov, SomeOrdinaryGamers, and Zach Star Himself. Just to name a few.

And there's also a browser extension called "Watch on Odysee" which adds a button to the YouTube video if the video is also found on Odysee so you can "watch on Odysee" instead of YouTube. Which can help you locate your favorite youtubers on the platform and let you follow them.

And there is also an Odysee mobile app if you like watching videos on mobile.

This is just one example, but I hope it helps ;-)

I am a trans woman. I started HRT around Nov 2022. However I'm trying to seek happiness with myself without any surgery. Only relying on HRT to get the effects I want.

Part of the reason for that decision is because I have health related issues that cause me to have a higher risk of infection from surgeries and diseases in general. Part of it is also uncertainty.

That said, I like where I'm at in the process though. And I'm pretty happy overall.

I am a trans woman that is just trying to "blend in" if you know what I mean.

But if it comes up in conversation and i'm comfortable enough I may or may not reveal the fact that I'm trans.

I appreciate your response. Thank you :-) hugs

I'm not sure I can be so blunt about it... but yeah I'll take that into consideration to help me. Thank you.

Thank you. I appreciate that.

I actually did research way back when and found the website strongfamilyalliance. And they have a resource for "Faith Based Organizations" to show the general consensus of support for LGBTQIA+ by various religions. Some say they support it and some say they don't. Regardless, I found it to be a very helpful resource.

My version of a TLDR:

Spotpass is a wireless tech that would auto connect with other 3ds or Wii U systems that were in the immediate area albeit with a limited range. It was their way of having a social community. Sort of like how you might meet other people while walking around outside.

In the case of Spotpass, when you connected, it would show you the user's profile, their favorite games, etc. And in some cases for specific games it would provide special DLCs or content that cannot be found elsewhere.

Hence why we'd want to preserve that data since some DLC and other features are exclusive to Spotpass.

I appreciate it. This is very helpful thank you :-)

I do feel that HRT has helped me in alot of ways.

One of the biggest benefits for me, possibly as a result of being true to myself, is that I have more confidence in myself and I'm more open about things. And that has lead me to making way more friends than I've ever had.

I used to be more reserved mostly because I was afraid of what others think. And while I'm still afraid of what others might think I also don't care anymore and just want to exist as the best me I can be. :-)

I haven't been able to tell my parents about that tho cause of the friction between us.

What I just wrote may in fact be part of the letter I should write to them.

Thanks for the help :-)

I'll try to keep the story short.

I would like to briefly preface my story with the fact that I have alot of health related issues and my parents have been with me and super supportive the whole way... that is until I identified as trans. So I'm a bit torn on what to do at the moment. ( They don't like that I'm trans )

I am currently dealing with alot of depression in regards to my parents. Both my Dad and my Step Mom are pastors and very religious Methodists. They are strongly against me being trans.

I started hormone therapy in Nov 2022 and I've been very happy with my progress. But around Nov 2023 I came out to my parents and it at least wasn't hateful but my parents didn't like it and were very emotional.

Cut to where I'm at now. They sent me these long worded letters on how it's wrong and why I shouldn't be transitioning etc. Dad went the science approach and Mom went the religious approach.

And they keep demanding a response from me. But everytime I bring myself to even try to respond I just domino effect into that depression hole. I'd much rather work, play my video games, hangout with friends and just ignore the problem.

Which I know ignoring problems can be bad... I'll figure out a way to deal with it somehow.

On a lighter note, I have ALOT of new trans friends and stuff so I have a sort of support network. And I recently got a new girlfriend who is local. So I got that going for me. :-)
