Ooh, nice.

I have the griddle, good stuff.

Yep, that's all I can do too.

I'm not upset, not sure why you're projecting anything there. There's nothing in my statement that imparts any feeling whatsoever. That's utterly projection on your part.

I had ~~streaking~~ streaming services. I now have one, and would like to be rid of even that, so am working on a home media/everything server, and building up my library. Even with stuff I'm not particularly interested in, because I can.

Just disappointing that people continue to support these organizations that have made their attitude towards us plebians abundantly clear.

Yep, people need to stop going. Problem solved.

And from what I've read, ARM has a way to go to best x86 for all-out performance, which is primary to servers. Reduced power consumption is nice, but we're already maximizing clock cycle usage (power utilization) with virtualization. If you have to install even 5% more servers to meet demand, there's no value in it.

Gotta love the downvotes when supposed "progressives" are exposed for the hypocritical racists they are.

Remember, the KKK was started by Democrats. Yes, actual democrats, don't give me any of the revisionist nonsense either. It was founded by good ole racist Democrats.

I'm shocked, shocked I say!

Yea, that's poor socialization, which happens a LOT with little dogs.

Most people don't understand that many of the little dogs (the terrier breeds, notably), are pretty fearless and assertive (not necessarily in a bad way) by breeding. It's all in the name "Terrier", as in "go to ground" after small, rather aggressive animals (ferrets and such) .

That fearlessness and assertiveness needs to be conditioned while they're young. Too many owners think the yappy little thing is harmless, so never train them to not bark constantly.

Honestly, about 90%+ of dog owners put zero effort into understanding dogs and their responsibility for socializing them.

Yea, that hasn't been my experience at all.

As a young adult, our dogs were chick magnets, my girlfriend would get jealous all the time (though was good natured about it).

If you're out with a dog, and treating it well, it sends a message about you. Especially how you interact with one - it really exposes lots about us (having worked at a vet, I learned a lot, and have seen a lot).

But - if you don't want a dog, that's fine. In fact, your willingness to own that, and be clear about it, is a credit to you. Know what you like.

Lol, you're not wrong!

Animals are who they are, very occasionally one will be born aggressive. Otherwise their demeanor is a result of the humans around them.

I don't dislike dogs, I dislike their humans for not "doing the needful" and properly socializing them.

Great examples.

Especially since we're all a hodgepodge of good/bad will - the challenge for anyone is to keep the crap inside as much as possible, and focus on doing the good.

Speak for yourself.

This is why "know yourself" is in pretty much any philosophical/ethical/moral framework.
