Previously they used Star Trek image for Star Wars news. I think it's something they consider "funny", just like their often cringe article titles.

The next Battlefield game will be built by 4 studios at EA. DICE for multiplayer, Criterion Games for single player/MP, Motive for single player and Ripple Effect for a "new experience" in c/[email protected]

I think this is mostly a US thing. Why use yearly salary? You're not paid once a year, are you? Most likely once a month. Referencing monthly salary makes much more sense.

"I'm making 50k". Great, now I have to guess - dollars? Monthly? Yearly? If yearly then what's the monthly paycheck? Net? Gross?

Hi, there are 2 small things I wish were corrected:

  1. Sync is ignoring single new lines and only creates a new line when there are 2 new lines entered. Due to that, posts that are nicely formatted in browser (new lines, lists etc.) often look messy in Sync (everything displayed as one block of text)

  2. Can the 'View in browser' button take us to the post (comments) instead of the link?

The Settings shortcut: Link handling > Bypass AMP links doesn't seem to work.

Tested on this link with both External and Internal Browsers and didn't get the mention option to bypass. Does it work for anyone?

[Feature request] Possibility to move Community name above the title (lemmy.zip)
 

Hi! Small feature request - could we have another toggle in the settings that would allow displaying the bar with community name, time posted etc. above the post title? This way we would know the context of a post before we start reading the title.

I understand this might not seem like a big deal and there are other, more important features the dev(s) might be focusing right now but it would be a welcome QoL option. Hope this is not something that requires a lot of effort. Cheers!

EDIT: Removing unnecessary comment to focus on what's this about.

~~Linux keeps prompting me for password when I don't need it to (installing programs, changing settings etc.) but when I would actually want it to - viewing passwords saved in web browser - it doesn't~~. I'd like Linux to prompt me to enter password when viewing passwords saved in browsers. This works by default in Windows. Anyone know how to ~~fix~~ set it on Linux?

System: Linux Mint 21.2 Cinnamon (but it was the same in 21.1).

Browser: Vivaldi 6.1.3035.111 (Stable channel) stable (64-bit), but it's the same in Waterfox.
