I don't know why they need one, but the next ~~one~~ show in January they will crown a Champion... should be an interesting thing, I want Uno to leave the booth and steal the title for himself... he is Evil after all.

EDIT: struck out the word one and replaced it with show.

They were selling Rhodes signed Winged Eagles shortly after the show ended. I wonder if each SNME (or whatever they call the other specials) will have a different theme. This one 80s to early 90s, the next one could be Big Eagle, then Undisputed, then Cena/RA era covering the 4 eras and 4 classic titles they may want to sell.

UFC's weren't so horrible in the old 2000s design but it did have a huge UFC logo front and center but it was the same color as the rest of the belt, the current one is worse than the WWE one.

The world titles both still have large misplaced logos, but do look better than the giant W's. You would think Triple H who basically had them bring back Big Gold because he liked it and then wouldn't let it go would understand that a good looking belt adds more to the product than giant marketing logos. But, he's not the actual boss so I guess that's up to Khan or Ari.

So, Pat is back for tonight... otherwise it's just been good stuff so far.

McIntyre and Zayn put on a really good match and then they followed it with Liv and Iyo and that's one of Liv's better matches to me. It really does help they are treating this like a PPV and giving the matches time.

On another note, I'm kind of tired of Liv and Rhea.

EDIT for More:

I think the World Title match was just ok, for the three people involved I expected more. Chelsea winning was great, it's about time she gets some recognition... although I was kind of expecting Tiffany to show up and cash in her briefcase, glad she didn't.

I'm more a Big Eagle fan, but Cody coming out with the Winged Eagle belt really drives home my hate for the current giant logo designs.

They have Meta AI baked into their apps now and are building a 10 Billion dollar AI facility in Louisiana that they want to use Nuclear Power to run.

So I'm guessing the plan is to hurt the competition that is already ahead of them and hopefully get enough time to buy them out or pass them.

Third time's the charm I guess.

For those wondering why... I posted a few weeks ago about TNA's US ratings and they are getting a 0.01 to 0.02 on average... Nobody outside of us nerds is going to know or care and with their viewership so low they have almost nothing to lose because diehards likely won't leave over Tessa.

Also, they apparently want a powerhouse on the knockouts and she does fit that.

Dammit Tessa!! /s

Wonder why though, I know he's older but he is still ok in the ring and I have a soft spot for the GORE GORE GORE!!!

I can top that... It's the Stardust outfit!

I'd have loved them doing a swerve and have him pull out a golden sledgehammer/shovel.

You know, this is kind of cool, even if I think she was mostly wasted being in the tag division. I think all the smart money is on Naomi being Jades attacker, but I wouldn't be upset if it turns out Bianca was tired of not chasing the WWE or World Championship.

CM Punk might be a narcissist and an asshole but the more that leaks out about this time period, the more I grudgingly sympathize with him. I'm not absolving him, I'm just saying they all look like shit the more that comes out, actively encouraging people to poke at him is a bitch move.

All around this is my main criticism of AEW, the inmates are running the asylum. AEW needs a full time HR department that is competent and TK should get somebody to be the boss for when he wants to say no but can't bring himself to be the one to do it.

The whole point of the fan vote was to make everybody happy and split the events, lol, it's so TNA and I love it.

EDIT: See comments for spoiler...

PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources that WWE's Ricochet has given notice that he intends to exit the company when his current contract expires this summer. We are told that Ricochet is expected to be written out of WWE storylines very soon in advance of the contract expiration. Ricochet is currently part of WWE's Raw brand.

...

One source we spoke with said they were giving Ricochet "all the credit in the world for betting on himself." One would think he'll quickly be a hot commodity as a free agent.

Kingston suffered a tibular fracture working for New Japan Pro Wrestling several weeks back in California.

Kingston confirmed that he suffered tears to his ACL and meniscus as well. They will require surgery.

While Kingston had hoped to be back by AEW's All In: London, his post-surgery recovery will likely mean he will be out closer to nine months.

Next week's scheduled trial against AEW's Daniel "Cash" Wheeler will not go forward, PWInsider.com has confirmed.

This afternoon, the Prosecutor's office filed "Nolle Prosequi."

The Latin phrase is used in court records as a legal notice that the Prosecution in a legal case has opted to drop and abandon the case. There is no word as to why the Prosecutors made that decision or why it took them until the week before the trial to drop prosecution.

As of this morning, there was a pre-trial hearing set for tomorrow afternoon at 2 PM and a trial slated for 5/20. All of that has been canceled. Wheeler's bond has been released and the case was officially closed as of 3 PM this afternoon.

TKO Group filed a SEC filing this evening, revealing that all of Vince McMahon's remaining stock in TKO Group are now registered for sale, potentially opening the door for McMahon to exit as an owner if all of the stock is eventually sold.

McMahon currently holds about 5% of the stock and has been greatly selling off stock since his resignation for the company, building a massive cash warchest.

The Rock's return and the road to WrestleMania 40 has been fantastic, but it wasn't the way it was originally planned.
