Obviously the way to combat this is to organize dozens or more people who just walk around, load up shopping carts, then leave the store without buying anything. They can pay people to put everything back.

BMW indicators work fine, they’re just designed so that poor people can’t see them.
No one:
BMW: - seat warmers as a service - Apple CarPlay / Android Auto as a service - suspension as a service
BMW can get bent.
Right. And that would stop if people quit participating on fb.
I like being up to date on what my city councillors are doing, events my local cafes host, local art exhibits, etc. Things that have tangible benefits to my community.
I’m going to say this in the nicest way possible- get up off your behind and attend council meetings in person, walk around your neighborhood, do anything except getting all your local news from Facebook. It’s literally there to show you what they want you to see, not what you want to see. Meta as a company is awful, and the algorithms they use to deliver content and advertising to you are a malignant tumor on society. Any information you get from it can easily be ascertained by walking around your neighborhood.
Nah, this is just good people doing good things for other people in need.
I can actually see how you might think it’s a boring dystopia, but this is just how we live where I’m from.
It’s great to destroy societies to win an election, is there enough housing, jobs, etc?
You start with a bad faith argument, and anyone is supposed to take you seriously?
“The government made 25% of my district unemployed, why didn’t I get reelected?”
Ask it from that side and you have your answer.
I really would have liked this more without the /s disclaimer at the end, but I get it.
That whole mindset is weird to me. I’m in my mid 40s and just got hired on as a team lead for a bunch of kids who are fresh out of college. They’re exactly where I am when I started and I’m excited to share my 20 years of experience and mentor them.
They wanted to hire me on as their supervisor but I made it clear that the extra couple grand a year for that headache didn’t interest me.
I just wanted to reinforce my opinion that you can (and I have) absolutely become a better person and left the shitty version of myself behind.
If you’re set on being a better person than you were before, then you’re progressing. There’s a quote attributed to Plato, and I don’t know if he actually said this or not. I think this rings true no matter what though.
“Never discourage anyone who continually makes progress, no matter how slow”
Keep being better and you’ll get through the guilt of who you may have been before. Be a voice for those you may have slighted earlier in life. It gets easier as time goes on, I can promise you it does from personal experience.
Even if GM did actually sell something I’d want to drive, not having CarPlay would be an instant dealbreaker.
