This seems like such an odd gameplay genre for that IP. I really love anything Monsterverse including the recent Apple TV Plus show but this game just seems dull. And that voice acting... oof.

This looks really cool! I've never heard of Little Nightmares but now I'll have to give them a look.

I like Kyle Mooney and A24 but something about this just isn't resonating with me. I'll probably still see it though and hopefully I'm wrong!

I was just thinking about this episode yesterday! This show was great and the world needs more Joe Pera. I really love the part in this episode when he says he wants to figure out why jack-o'-lanterns scare him "so goddamn much".

Yep. A bad version of something nobody wanted in the first place.

Yeah I don't think originally being announced in 2015 had anything to do with it. It failed because it was so obviously a soulless cash grab product of a focus group driven production machine banking literally all of its success not on its own merit but on the Borderlands name alone. I don't give a shit about Borderlands but even I could tell not an ounce of effort was put into making a Borderlands movie and it was purely just a coat of paint to slap on another movie with Kevin Hart yelling all the time and Jack Black making diarrhea jokes.

And with that type of execution they managed to completely miss the fans of the game (which wasn't the big pool they thought it was) by making it nothing like it yet also missing mainstream audiences by making it a video game movie. It's honestly impressive how ill advised every single decision was, and case studies should be written on this in the future.

Or to quote RedLetterMedia, it's the cinematic equivalent of Homer Simpson's Makeup Shotgun.

Looks like an improvement but the skin around the eyes looks too normal. I'd expect someone frozen to basically be entirely shades of blue. And the way he's sitting looks a bit too natural. I get that he's frozen in place but if he was fallen over on his side it might sell the effect a little better.

I'd give the demo a shot.

This looks fun but I'm not imaginative enough to ever get much out of these games. I'll usually make a box or something, light a few things on fire, then not be able to think of anything else.

Definitely looks interesting. I'm hoping it can recapture the fun of Oblivion from back in the day. Outer Worlds was okay but hopefully they build on what that game got right. I'm really hoping for a big and engagingly realized world.

Keeps them in a wooden hutch with nothing but newspaper

Thanks I just had it stuffed.

I remember a similar snafu with the Demon Souls remake so I'm not holding out hope of it being a leak.
