Camera and baseband seem to be the general pain points. Somewhat unsurprisingly, given that both are complicated black box devices.

The storage requirements might be ever so slightly prohibitive.

It's not about being helpful in the sense of just answering the question at hand. If OP just wanted the question answered they can just Google it. Instead I wanted to offer an alternative, low risk solution.
While Ubisoft, EA and consorts can easily stomach some piracy and still crank out "AAA" titles in a 6-months interval, it hurts small studios relatively more. Buying and returning, on the other hand, offers a way to give feedback to the studio via the return reason and costs just as little as piracy.

I'm not saying it was always the case. Back when ads were just images hosted on the same machine as the rest of the page they were only annoying.
But nowadays even so-called acceptable ads are delivered by third-party servers. So suddenly you have to trust not only the operator of the page you're visiting but also any advertising partners they use. And since all modern advertising uses a gazillion of metrics that necessitates JavaScript you end up executing code that neither you nor the page operator have any actual need for nor influence on, hoping that the ad network has some sort of vetting process so they don't end up unwittingly delivering malware.
That's a tall order in my opinion.

ProtonDB says it's decent, the game is Steamdeck verified plus you can return it with under two hours playtime, so I'd just buy it.
Any upgrade path with a pirated version should be completely irrelevant.

All ads are a cybersecurity risk, not just the targeted ones. The targeted ones just offer new and exciting vectors.

Yup. You can pay Netflix for 4K, but you can only get 4K with Edge on Windows and even then only if you have the right hardware. Like, what's the point? On Linux you can only get 1080p by spoofing your just agent. Otherwise they only give you 720p.

Yea, that's just plain stupid of them. I don't know how they expected that to go over.

Oh yes, I bought that content, but sure, take it away. I totally understand that the licensing changed.

Buy it. Larian is a small studio that put a lot of effort and love into that game. If you like what they do, support them. You can get it DRM free on GOG, so you get to actually own it.

To be fair, streaming was never buying. It was always paying entry to a library. If stuff gets removed from the library that's the way it is.
That isn't to say I don't agree. Piracy is a service problem, as Gabe Newell so eloquently put it. Streaming started losing the moment it started splintering into cable networks.

Wouldn't that be obvious from the force required?

When the screen blanks liftoff simply resets to the default view. As a result it forgets:

  • The feed you were scrolling through
  • ~~The position in the feed~~
  • The post/comment you were writing

Makes it annoying to write even moderately long posts/comments because you constantly have to be on the lookout for the screensaver or disable it. And how you don't get distracted when authoring a post/comment.

Seeing this on Android 13 and liftoff 0.10.9

After I just deleted about two pages of comment, because Android gesture navigation is fun that way 😑, I really wished liftoff would save the unsent comment as draft or at least ask me if I really want to abandon this comment.

This is on android. What I mean is when you try to scroll the feed and happen to touch an image, instead of scrolling the feed I get these colored circle segments telling me this can't scroll any further. But that shouldn't even be an option because there is only a single image.
See this post for an example. For some reason the image does scroll ever so slightly.

Embedded image being ![](url).
Scrolling down is no issue but scrolling up leads to the view position jumping back down, as soon as the images starts entering the frame. The only way I found to scroll back up is scrolling really fast. Maybe so the image fully enters the view from one draw to the next.

I'm currently running Iodé and an considering switching to Ubuntu phone, but ultimately I'd like to give PostmarketOS a shot. Can the Ubuntu phone support translate to faster development for PostmarketOS?

Title. The language of a post or comment is never displayed, nor can it be defined when writing posts or comments.
This leads to posts/comments with the language set to "undetermined" which leads to them appearing to users that didn't select the actual language.

Edit: Additionally some communities seem to have started disallowing "undetermined" as a post/comment language, leading to Jerboa users being unable to post/comment. I've encountered [email protected] so far.

As you can see, the included extension cord collides with the chosen cpu cooler. The other end of the cable looks like this.

So I need a 1ft c13 to c14 cable with two angled connectors. Not sure if the c14 side should be angled up or right.

Anyone know where I'd buy such a specific cable?

There's a community on Facebook called Bunz. They're about trading things you don't need for ones you do.
Would there be interest in a thread or a dedicated community here? I'm suggesting a thread, too, because there's obviously some advantage to locality.
