I really think Bernie and others just don’t get it. Like, you can craft a message to try and appeal to voters who were sitting out / voting 3P by, for example, just focusing on things Trump has said and done re: Israel. But dropping “Israel has a right to defend itself” and not calling it a genocide will just piss off those voters.

This was also true of Marx and Engels, imo.
