In D20, every fight is cinematic. If you give them the same feel in your game and have an end goal separate from killing monsters, a huge 3d environment and a ticking clock of tension then you’re emulating it perfectly.

DA2 takes a different take for me when I realized that you're playing through Varric's retelling of the story. It kinda explains why people are falling out of the sky to join the battle and other inconsistencies.
This campaign, I've been using notion but the previous campaign I used a google sites to make nesting webpages and keep campaign info on there. I made all the pcs authors so they could also update their characters, add information, etc and it worked out okay for a front facing solution. We never hit publish on the site so we didn't share it beyond our group, of course. As long as you have a way to keep yourself organized it's much easier to deal with the twists and turns that campaigns take.
If ONLY for the names, Space Mutiny is a great intro to the craziness of MST3K. I don't go very long without using 'Big McLargehuge' as a name for something.
