That's exactly what I thought. It's like all the corporations have crossed some invisible threshold and decided that they need to burn all the bridges that got them there in the first place.

For something that is positioned at L1 for an indefinite amount of time, with a large enough area to be effective as a solar shroud, it'll definitely have an impact.

That kind of shroud is effectively a solar sail without the ship attached.

I've been playing as a shock sorc with a dip into frost Nova, and a fireball enchantment, which has been really fun.

Basically - if I'm not stunning them I'm freezing them, and if I'm not doing either of those I'm about to use a skill and get loads of barrier or use my ultimate and absolutely melt everything on screen.

Honestly, there's so many fantastic quotes from Dalinar in this book, it was hard to limit myself to just one.

So many brilliant quotes from Uncle Iroh.

That was such a captivating speech. Although he may have had some weak episodes (as does any Doctor), if you need someone to give a captivating direct, Capaldi's Doctor can't be beat!

“A journey will have pain and failure. It is not only the steps forward that we must accept. It is the stumbles. The trials. The knowledge that we will fail. That we will hurt those around us.

But if we stop, if we accept the person we are when we fail, the journey ends. That failure becomes our destination.”

Dalinar Kholin, from the Stormlight Archive

Ironically, many people won't be able to see that because of Musk limiting people's ability to use Twitter.

I'm not playing it, but what you describe is almost point for point a summary of Skillup's review. I'm curious that other reviewers didn't make more of a point of these things.
