I think Denethor had more regard for Faramir than most Tolkien fans have for The Hobbit movies. I know the only way I'll watch them anymore is the fan edit 4-hour cut that removes all the crap that wasn't in the book.

 

When Nick Akers set out to buy a business in late 2021, his search process had a 24-month timeline attached to it. He figured he wouldn’t need that much time, hearing that those in a similar situation typically are successful around the year and a half mark.

“That’s exactly how mine panned out,” Akers said.

Akers in May wrapped up his acquisition search, closing on a purchase of Chesterfield-based IT managed services provider STL Communications Inc. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

 

The most difficult part of the new rule is allowing parents to challenge the aged designation of any item in the library. Some libraries are receiving lists of 100 or more books and challenges overall are increasing, Moeller said.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a Toyota Corolla crossed the center line of the two-lane highway and struck the motorcycles, ejecting the drivers and passengers on each motorcycle. One of the motorcycles caught fire.

 

I can’t say that I share her optimism, but I suppose it’s always good to maintain hope that people here in MO will stop voting against their own interests.
