There is the completely open source https://standardnotes.com/ which would support that via their syncing and the authenticator note type.

Unfortunately it does not look like their free plan allows you to use that note type. So could also host it yourself though (and pay for the premium token their or hack it out - it's foss). Have never done that myself though

Well yeah but imagine you had to do that on most lines of the code? It would become very distracting imho. If you are in a team with people that have a lot experience and or will learn more anyway this is fine. But if you are in a team with not very good programmers which "will never learn" because they have other stuff to do, you should be careful when using code like this. Though I would prefer in the former of course.

While I did not figure out a solution yet, but I found out some additional information and came to the conclusion that nixos must have built something weirdly. edit: I found the solution

The culprit was onboard, which allows you to activate this - but it persists even after onboard is closed

Since yesterday my laptop/tablet (a shiftbook/shift13mi) with nixos and kde plasma shows hover click behavior (i.e., whenever I hover my cursor over something clickable like a button or a link a timer is going down and then it clicks the thing). I did not consciously activate it and it is VERY annoying. After a reboot it was still there but I saw the following window attached to this post.

Searching for it so far has only brought me the insight that KDE Plasma should not even have hover click, only gnome has that. Any idea what is going on and how to fix it?

I do not think most people know about the computer science definition of algorithm involving discrete steps. For average people I feel like your definiton of "any system that automatically sorts or elecits information, apart from responding to user input" is the only one known.

Hatte heute eine (zugegebenermaßen zu hitzige) Diskussion über "macht Sinn" und "ergibt Sinn". Oder genauer: keine Diskussion, sondern ein an den Kopf werfen von "es wird ständig benutzt so" vs. "es ist ein Anglizismus". Da mich aber auch ehrlich interessiert, was eigentlich dahinter steckt (und die Diskussion das nicht wirklich beinhaltet hat), bin ich nach einiger Recherche zu dem Schluss gekommen, dass a) das, was ich nicht mag, "präskriptiv" bzw. negative Sprachkritik heißt, b) es vielleicht gar kein Anglizismus ist [2] und c) es zwar im Duden steht, aber "nur" als Umgangssprache [4] (unter "macht [k]einen Sinn").

Eure Meinung? Habe ich was wichtiges übersehen?

Das ist zwar dann Wortklauberei, aber wenn ich nochmal extra einen analogen Gegenstand für etwas habe ist es weniger digital als einfach nur das Ticket in der App.

Erstmal bei mir, aber ich bin ja nicht der einzige. Ich erinnere mich da einen Post auf LinkedIn das wir in Deutschland lieber nochmal das digitale Ticket/Dokument ausdrucken um sicher zu sein.

Not at expert myself - but according to my sources including the German youtuber "Held der Steine" Lego is not the top quality brand. Sure the very cheap ones are likely worse, but e.g. the polish brand "cobi" has as far as I heard better quality (I mostly heard about the difference in colouring though).

Habe mir das Deutschlandticket auch per Chipkarte statt per App geholt, weil ich den Apps nicht vertraue im "Ernstfall" auch immer zu funktionieren. ... sagt nur leider immer etwas über die Digitalisierung (und die Bereitschaft dazu und das Vertrauen darin )in Deutschland aus^^'

Ich muss im Moment mehrmals pro Woche mit dem Bus von Stadt A in Stadt B pendeln. Allerdings muss ich erstmal 2-3 km hin zur Bushaltestelle in A und dann in B nochmal 2-3 Kilometer zu meinem eigentlichen Zielort. Entsprechend der Gedanke: Klapprad könnte das einfacher machen.

Habe beim lokalen Händler ein paar ausprobiert, habe gemerkt dass die kleinen Reifen nix für mich sind aber 24'' vom Fahrgefühl völlig in Ordnung gehen. Aktueller Favorit: https://www.derfaltradshop.de/p/pegasus-24-p8a

Da ich aber keine guten Vergleichsseiten oder Spezialläden finde möchte ich hier nach Empfehlungen (und Warnungen und Erfahrungsberichten) fragen

Anforderungen/Wünsche:

  • Gepäckträger (oder andere Möglichkeit größeren Rucksack zu transportieren)
  • besser 24'' statt kleiner
  • Zusammengeklappt mit einer Hand tragbar (beim pegasus 24'' p8A meinem Empfinden nach nicht so gut möglcih da sperrig + es nicht eingerastet, d.h. nichts außer die eigene Hand hält das Fahrrad davon ab sich von alleine wieder auszuklappen - wobei das auch an mangelnder Erfahrung liegen kann)
  • idealerweise made in eu (auch wenn ich denke das das utopisch ist)
