only casually read stuff on hardocp around the sandy/ivy bridge generation. but yes a good chunk of it died to video coverage of the content. its why for example Gamers Nexus has the reverse approach where the video content is their main priority (and audience) and they maintain their own website because thats what they wanted to do.

more or less yes, that was its main advantage, but most of the cloud doesnt really compete there.

Shadow cloud gaming is an example that competes with nvidia on that front if game ownership is part of your concern, but its not the main concern for all cloud services.

AMD essentially keeps AM4 alive because 8 core CCDs dont make it easy to have a budget oriented options, something intel still can do (e.g low end i5s and i3s) due to at the time, monolitic design. yields on 8 core ccds are soo good that even 6 core ccds are fairly limited in numbers. and would be financially impractical to disable 4.cores intentionally to make a 4 core option.

i mean its not like Microsofts XCloud is an unusable service. they just have a completely different monetization approach.

tl;dr for people not in california. hes a heavy system democrat, so progressives dont really like him, but he runs on charisma which is something important for elections.

mixture of advertisement/visibility, and the perpetated idea that because a 3rd party is unlikely to ever win, some people vote for the less worse option of the two due to not having ranked choice voting

model y is an EV suv.

the problem basically is that the people driving model 3.the 3 itself is also fairly heavy, but the assumption that if they were going to drive a model 3, the majority would switch back to a lighter sedan when in reality, they bought the model 3 because it was one of the cheaper EV options, and had it not been a cheap EV option, they would have driven a larger hatchback or SUV regardless.

for example I had a coworker who recently got a tesla. what he was driving beforehand was a V70 Volvo hatchback before he sold it to fund the model 3. the hatchback is only a few hundred pounds lighter than the model 3, which effectively isnt a significant amount of weight, given an addition one, or two lighter people would already make up the weight difference alone.

the main benefit on the performance increase from zen4 to zen 5 is the reordering of the cache and chip layers allowed them to clock the cores higher, as one of the biggest bottlenecks for older x3d designs was clocks, due to the chip internally insulating a lot of the heat, so their clocks were stepped back from their non x3d counterparts.

the 9800x3d base and turbo clocks are a generous step up from previous gen, and likely the biggest contributing factor to the performamce increase when reviews drop.
