Sounds kinda like manosphere PUA negging bullshit. If most women are out of you're league, you gotta cut them down to your level to have a shot. πŸ™„

The only quality that these job cuts are going to improve is the quality of ink on the executive suite's bonuses. What drivel.

For example, Fowle said, that could mean moving away from developing many different infotainment features and instead focusing on ones that matter most to consumers.

Here's an idea: instead of laying those people off, move them into positions that can help assure the quality of your shitty infotainment software.

Backblaze regularly releases failure rate statistics of their drives, and it's often a big enough dataset to be quite meaningful. I haven't been keeping up with it lately, but there certainly was a period of time where there were substantial differences in the failure rates of different manufacturers.

So while you do still need to have drive failure mitigation strategies, buying more reliable devices can definitely save you time and headache in the future by having to deal with failures less frequently.

I watched your video, and she makes a number of logical errors. She correctly identifies that cats need diets that are nutritionally complete, but then jumps to the conclusion that cats need to eat meat. They don't. They need to consume the nutrients that have traditionally been found in meat. She overlooks that vegan cat foods are specifically designed to contain all these nutrients, thus making them nutritionally complete.

While I generally agree that vegans shouldn't adopt cats if possible, Kitten Lady seems to be talking out of her ass.

There's still an abundance of cats that need adopting that will likely be killed if they can't get a permanent home. I kinda agree it's best as a vegan to specifically choose adopting an animal that can also live happily on a vegan diet.

However, if the choice is between adopting a cat and not adopting at all, wouldn't the greater good still be adopting, especially if you choose a cat that might typically have a hard time finding fosters? (Cats with injuries, or special needs, or black cats, for example.)

What the actual fuck. Do they not even know that Monster Energyβ„’ has vegan taurine? How else do they think vegans get their 166mg of caffeine per serving? πŸ™„

Anyways...

So, is this the instance mod overriding the community mods? Guess it's time to give up on LW. It really has become the cesspit of Lemmy.

What's the first? Right wing nationalism? If so, it's been systematically propped and fostered by the oligarchs to sow division. It wouldn't be the problem it is without their continued support.

Haha, right? That's kinda the exact opposite of what you'd expect! Cats are silly. :)

The title. On first glance, it reads like you might be implying that the shitshow was the OP's take.

Reading it again, I get what you're saying, but it's written in a kinda confusing way.

Ours absolutely detests any form of wet food. If it's not dry, he won't eat it.

My dictionary says it can also mean "hairstyling", so maybe there's the "hairstyling version" with her hair put up, and the "knit hat" version without? Just guessing, here.

This might not be am option or helpful for everyone, but I've moved cities since I got my current phone number. Now I know if it's from my own area code, it's almost certainly spam. And since pretty much everyone has country-wide free long distance calling nowadays, long distance charges don't really matter.
