Nah this is clearly with an A. A bottle of henny on the cake is a bro move.
Yeah she may have been a cunt but she was still good at teaching.
I don't mind since ugly buildings . It's not like Auckland looks nice anyway.
I don't believe it.
Yeah you are right. I choose to take French because I had an interest in the subject but after her class I hate French. For example of a good teacher I hated math and was getting 30% in exams then one of the teachers was really good at engaging the class and I got 90% that year. It was form 6 math which is even more impressive because he was able to teach me all the building blocks I'd missed from over the years and the new concepts all in one year. If it weren't for him I would have never caught up and gone on to take advanced math in uni ( which I failed but that was for other reasons)
If someone is fighting depression and builds up the courage to reach out to you be sure to say "aren't we all" then provide zero support. This will make then feel like they aren't struggling alone.
I had a French teacher who targeted me like this. She would call on me multiple times per lesson when I didn't know the answer and she would give me a detention if I didn't put my hand up at least twice per lesson and correctly answer.
She claimed that she was doing this because she liked me and that I had a French last name but the other dumb kid with a French last name didn't get the same treatment. I went from getting 50% in exams to 90% by the end of the year and I dropped French straight after that. Which sucked because I liked French but I couldn't risk getting stuck with her for another year. In total she must have caused me to spend at least 150 hours in detention
Housing developers are a group that lobby political parties for policy that is in all their interest so it's i think its fair to lump them into a single group here. They have gotten what they want.
How is that not consistent though? If someone's argument is windows is usable because it takes to long to disable analytics the argument isn't invalidated by them configuring Linux for 1000 hours. Linux comes out of the box with no analytics so they would only be inconsistent if they spent that 1000 hours trying to disable Linux analytics. I enjoy configuring Linux but I do not enjoy configuring my system to be malware free.
Sounds good on a headline but I think the policy misses a huge opportunity and will ultimately only help rich people.
Theyre right in that Flooding the housing market with houses is the only way to bring the cost down. But national is letting housing developers try and fill the demand gap Housing developers will build houses to make money but not enough to fill the demand gap. It's also not going to work because the demand is to high and housing developers don't want to "flood the market"
If the housing was built and owned by the government at least it could be used as a safety net for the people unable to keep up with rising house prices. In nationals situation developers win, people who can afford to own investment properties win, renters lose and poor people lose.
Every dollar the government "saves" not building those houses will be spent renting emergency housing from those developers or subsiding rent for people who can't afford to live in them.
People who spend that much time configuring linux are doing it for fun. Majority of people switching to linux have a working install setup in less time than it takes to install windows
Can I still do this if I don't know much about birds? I'm thinking it could be a good opportunity to learn a few of the bird types.
