Responding for the sake of discussion. Also I’m stoned.

You’re comparing a moral dilemma and an ethical one. They are very different.

For the meat industry, how do we qualify a humane death? How do we qualify these animals as having a sense of self? What demographics might depend on that meat? How many businesses would crumble without it?

For piracy, who is the victim? Big artists, small artists, production companies, record labels, radio stations? Maybe it’s SAG-AFTRA?

Ultimately it doesn’t matter either way. There is someone out there who is violently upset that you are the way you are. Fuck the haters and do what you feel is right.

I’m right there with you.

Yesterday I was totally paralyzed with all of the things I need to do. Ended up cooking dinner and that was all. I’ve been on the job hunt for over a year now just trying to find something that brings a little light to my life, but it all seems so soul-crushing.

I’ve also been dependent on cannabis because it makes me feel… normal? Now my medical card has expired and I never used it illegally so I’m facing this dark tunnel alone and it’s overwhelming.

Though I was able to watch my neighbor’s dog and cat for 10 days earlier this month. It was strange to have living things depend on me again. My boy died about a year and a half ago and I’m still not over it. Isn’t this shit supposed to get easier with time?

My boy

We aren’t alone in feeling the way we do. Gods know I could use a hug; if you have family there soak up all the time you can get.

Let’s hope that soon we will crawl out of our personal hells and thrive.

Have you considered speedrunning?

Jokes aside, my girlfriend is trans and we stay indoors if her dysphoria hits. Video games, board games, trading card games like Magic or Pokémon, and movies.

Your friends may be hesitant at first and that’s normal as you begin your transition and present as your true self. Try not to hold it against them.

Best of luck and lots of love.

Card for anything that could possibly be issue later on so I have protection. Cash for local businesses and my favorite chicken place that doesn’t take cards.

Discovered Car Mechanic Simulator and it’s so so so satisfying. I know (knew?) absolutely nothing about the mechanical systems of cars, but it just clicks.

3U is still my favorite MH. Don’t care what anyone says about the underwater combat. I loved it.

Great games, but the older CRPGs did not age well. I’d strongly suggest reading plot summaries of the previous BG games if you are on the fence.

Pathfinder is a great game and the most modern of the bunch. Not sure why Mythforce is even in this bundle.

Dog math is quite difficult. This handsome pup must have attended UC Barkley.

Great interview by Freddie, both of them are so humble. I remember growing up in the late 90s and early 2000s when both of these men were seemingly at the height of their careers. Very glad to see them happy.

Thanks for sharing.

Western US here. We had a rope climb twice a year from 4th to 9th grade. I tried the first time and then refused every time after that.

Never did get any flak for it. Can only assume they knew it was dangerous and were happy to have kids skip it.

I had been using wefwef as an Apollo refugee, but it just wasn’t very consistent. Likely due to the webapp experience.

This morning I checked the AppStore for any Lemmy apps like I do every morning and to my delight I saw something. I have only spent an hour or so using it, but it feels very good for a new release.

It’s definitely not Apollo, but it also shouldn’t try to be.
