A little bit of emulation but mostly minecraft. Though a friendly creeper turned my hardcore world into spectator mode. I have a save that is about a day before it but I will probably delete it since I think the point of hardcore is to not save copies. Plus it was before I built the nether portal or got a mending fishing rod. I am thinking of using the beehaw seed that I discovered before to give hardcore another try.

Yes but they are pretty chill as long as you don't hit them or pick up their nest without the silk touch enchantment.

This is near where you spawn there is also a beach with turtles right next to it.

That makes more sense thank you. I did have framerate issues recording it especially when turning around took a few tries.

Thanks the only problem is it does not have a bed so I have to avoid the roof at night due to phantoms.

Thank you silly and goofy is what I was going for. Also Fps as in first person mode? Should I have done it in 3rd person?

Its my first hardcore world and I thought I would make a video showcasing my dirt house in the style of those old silent films they use to make. I was originally going to put in a joke about how I am the first person to ever build a dirt house in minecraft but decided not to do it. Edit: if there are any invidious instances that are still working let me know so I can add those links to the video as an option. Edit: Now in spectator mode. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkCcKUIXWpI

12GB is small but that just means you might want to opt for links you find useful like ReversalHatchery said. You could probably store a lot of fanfiction and tutorials if its just text. I have had an idea of creating a special storage code that can store large amounts of information in a smaller file size but I am bad at maths and programming and have no idea what I am doing so it might take a while.

I would also suggest DIY perks. I enjoyed his video on what to do with old and broken laptops.

Out of all the journalist ai models the slam model appears to be the cheapest at the moment the blasts model was popular for a time but is slightly more expensive than the slams model, there is of course the condemns model which is pretty expensive but is for more experienced journalists since only real journalists can afford the best model to do journalism for them /s

Thanks I will look into it. Sort of related but I recently helped a friend that got a cheap laptop with windows 11 on it and changed it to linux some of the lower end laptops that come with windows 11 are not even powerful enough to run windows 11 its insane.

Thanks I will give that a try.

I was curious if anyone has any tips on where to look for computers/laptops about to be thrown out because its to outdated to run modern windows. I was thinking replacing the OS with a user friendly version of linux and giving it to people that would otherwise have to buy a new laptop/pc. I have heard businesses and schools end up throwing out their old stuff when they get it replaced though idk how I would go about asking.

Thank you for the link it seems like a good place to ask about a question I have been curious about.

TL:DW Steam has now changed its language from buy game to A purchase of a digital product grants a licence to the product on steam. This may also be non compliant with the new regulation as it still uses the word purchase. Also GOG used this opportunity to let you know their games come with an installer that they cannot take away from you.

I have a few dvds with some missing their cases and was wondering if anyone has tried making their own. The problem with a lot of tutorials is you already buy a basic case to modify that already have the push buttons. From searching online I have found them refereed to as push hubs and spider hubs though there doesn't seem to be a consistent name for them.

For example people consider ps2 retro but I always considered retro being in the 80s and earlier. No right or wrong answers it was just something I was curious about.

I recently decided to reinstall linux mint 21.3 Cinnamon to clean any extra packages I installed over time so I didnt have to manually look for and uninstall packages that I no longer use. Though when I tried to run lutris it would no longer run so instead of trying to get it to work I thought I would try pop os. First thing I noticed when installing Pop OS was the different layout. I was use to the linux mint layout since I went from windows to Mint. I never used Mac so this layout might seem normal for mac users. So far I have reinstalled Lutris and got lord of the rings the battle for middle earth 2 to run. This is part2 of my first post from a few months ago. 1 month of Linux Mint and some thoughts.

I have been getting into emulation though there is no emulation community here to talk about it. I assume emulation discussion in gaming is welcome any thoughts?

I have only been browsing here occasionally so I am not sure what all the new things happening here are. I did notice kbin.run is down so I am not sure what is going on with that.

This can also apply to peertube instances if you use that.
