This is literally the only reason i’ve been current.

Obviously someone that motivated for sure, but i remember when i was younger how utterly lonely it felt to let my thoughts drift politically more to the left into the no-mans land, but knowing what i know now it feels like getting up a hill and seeing what’s over it, and it’s unbelievable because previously it’s either you’re conditioned to believe there was nothing or there was only bad over that hill.
Like, some real Plato’s Cave hours.
It’s disappointing then to see someone overcome with this despair after getting out, like it didnt turn out to be a lot of work by the end to see the world in a new way.
Wasnt exactly the skills i meant, but more power to her.
it's really annoying to me how boomers can read how to do something in one book and feel like they're experts, meanwhile i double, triple check processes and relearn every time i have to do something again and doubt myself even though there's so much information out there like to even open a goddamn jar lid.
It feels like liberalism is more of a dentent to lock leftward drift, which, yeah it obviously is. But the work to keep going left, to understand communism was made so artificially hard and it’s upsetting in ways that are so familiar yet hard to explain.
Once your over it’s like you tumble down a hill exponentially getting more and more leftist, but when people cant clear the dentent they roll so far to the right instead.
Listening to a vtuber clip with pippa being really doomer about shit like, damn, people without the clarity of working through shit to become a leftist really CANT see a better world is possible.
She was probably talented to actually work to the level she’d been raised up to.

Curious, I looked up americas favorite passtime.
Looks like 5 arrests over threats to shoot up a school, and about 1-2 shootings at or near a school in the last 2 days before i stop because the vp debate clogged the results
2 days…. We’ve returned to a shooting a day.
