In light of some controversies with lemmy devs I'm moving the community to kbin. If you want to continue using lemmy, I'd recommend another instance like https://lemmy.world/ or https://beehaw.org/. Keep in mind kbin and lemmy are compatible with eachother, so you can interact with the kbin community from lemmy if you want to.

edit: kbin looks to be having trouble with all the new reddit users joining. if it's down for a while, feel free to temporarily use this community. i'm not sure if kbin will survive June 12th, lol
That sounds really cool… so you could just take that file, do a clean install of nix, then put that file back and it’ll install all your old packages and stuff?
