Stratasys is suing Bambu over things like having a heated bed and using purge towers. Basically stuff that every decent printer does.

Similarly, sites that don't handle backslashes properly. I've had a few where I had to use my password sans all the backslashes because it interpreted them as an escape character.
For a laptop style system, the vast majority of users expect x86_64 software to just work. There are ARM versions for some things, and some can be recompiled by a knowledgeable user, but most software simply won't run.
ARM is the biggest reason this is unlikely to happen imo. Software compatibility is key.
If that shit rolls out here I'm switching where I shop to the next town over.
