I don’t get why anyone pays attention to these wannabe Hollywood producers like him or Todd Howard. The most interesting and innovative things in gaming are NOT happening in the AAA space.

I know, like I said I was too dumb to figure out exactly what to do when I got there :-). I definitely plan on diving back in, though.

I played this game and loved it but never finished it. I feel like I was either too dumb to figure out what to do next, or I could tell what I needed to do but couldn’t maneuver my ship/character well enough. Total skill issue on my part, though I intend to dive back in at some point.

I like having a roof over my head and food on the table, therefore I need to work.

I am so sorry, that is a horrible story. It is not your fault!

That explains Tom Scharpling writing for Monk too.

I’ve seen devices just like this in picking warehouses, usually attached to a finger-worn scanner.

Interesting. I’ve personally never had a problem with my arms falling asleep, and this looks like it would force my arms into a weird uncomfortable position, but I’m sure there are some people who would really like this.

Whoever is recording that really needs to clean the lens.

Didn’t Grevious drive this thing in the prequels?

We adopted a male cat who was a couple years old, he had no teeth and has stomach problems so he needs special food. He had already been adopted once and returned because of the issues and he got bullied out of his foster home by some other cats. Felt so sorry for him, he’s the sweetest boy and our other cat tolerates him ok (they have an older sister/younger brother dynamic), and she doesn’t usually like other cats.

The shelter staff made it sound like he was special needs but it’s literally just a slightly more expensive hard food. I guess after he was returned they wanted to make sure whoever adopted him knew what they were getting into. Love that little guy!

I saw this and thought, well yeah that VP is right, cold calls are annoying spam. However, based on the insane comments by all the salespeople, you'd be wrong. Like, are salespeople that out of touch with normal people?

So I've been doing a deep dive into all this stuff recently, I find it to be fun and interesting. However, I'm having trouble figuring out exactly what all these whistleblowers are alleging. Basically, the idea is that there is a secretive group of USG employees that know what is going on with UAPs and researching stuff, but Congress and the President know nothing of it and have no oversight of it? Is it just a bunch of high-ranking military people who pass the knowledge on to their successor when they retire? Or is the idea that all of these whistleblowers and Congress are in on it and this is all part of a slow 'controlled disclosure' scenario? Or is it a combined scenario where some members of the Executive Branch DO know about it but others don't?

Obviously, there are no hard and fast answers to this, I just feel like I keep hearing conflicting things about who in the USG knows what, and wondering if there is any kind of rough consensus about this? Probably a fools errand, but I figured I'd at least ask.

Anyone else have fond memories of Star Control 2?

Been waiting my whole adult life for this one!
